Acrylic is another type of yarn that is often used to make these amazing Woolster crochet creations. The advantages of using acrylic in my hancrafted products are:
- Wide range of colours available – as acrylic is a man-made fibre, there is almost an endless range of colours available
- Easy to clean – especially when compared to wool or cashmere. Acrylic products are so much easier to clean
- Durable – these handcrafted crochet products will last a long time
- Warm – a great material to be used in my winter’s day creations
- Lightweight
- Hypoallergenic – if you’re allergic to wool, it’s because of the lanolin that can be found in wool. Acrylic doesn’t contain any lanolin so perfect for people that can’t stand wool.
